Who we are

Beulah Foundation for Vulnerable Women and Children (B.F.W.A.C., RC 8748170) is a non-profit organisation based at 22, Olabamiji Adeagbo Street, Bolajoko Estate, Akobo, Ibadan, Oyo State. We are responsible for the personal information collected through this website. We handle it in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and, where it applies to donors in the European Union or United Kingdom, the GDPR.

What we collect and why

  • Donations: your name, email address and, if you choose, your phone number, plus the amount, frequency and campaign you choose. We use these to process your gift, confirm it, thank you and keep accurate financial records. Your card or bank details are entered on our payment provider's secure page and never reach this website.
  • Contact form: your name, email address, area of interest and message, so we can reply to you.
  • Newsletter: your email address, only after you confirm your subscription from the email we send you.
  • Bank transfers: if you email us after a transfer, the details you share so we can thank you and send a receipt.
  • Technical data: our hosting provider briefly processes your IP address and browser information to deliver the site securely and protect it from abuse (for example, limiting repeated form submissions).

Our legal bases are your consent (newsletter), taking steps you ask for (processing a donation or replying to a message), our legal obligations (financial records) and our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.
